"[We just] want to THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your help, your mind boggling strength and for taking such meticulous care in moving so many heavy pieces of furniture out of our home today ((98% of it all on your own!!). Your attention to detail, being so respectful, mindful of the state of our home, and in spite of how incredibly taxing this was on you (and we know it was!!) you always maintained such a wonderful sense of humor, a joyful heart through it all! Your two fellows who 'waited at the curb until you were done' were very kind, helpful at the end, and we, as well, appreciate them and the good and important work ALL of you do for others. “The middle-aged man who brought us the bed yesterday was like an angel like you, a human form. He was that good. I was so embarrassed by his kindness that he felt the helplessness and unhappiness on our faces because he treated us so well. [...] yesterday a miracle happened. The gentleman who brought us the single bed said to us yesterday” “I’ll give you whatever you want in this car” [...] And the Wingless Angel gave us this bed. He gave me a double bed for me and my wife to sleep on. It’s so beautiful, so clean, so brand new. I prayed for you so many times. [...] Last night, I slept in a very comfortable, very clean bed for the first time in three years”

" Good evening. I would like to sincerely express my gratitude for all the support and resources that my family and I have received from the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. You all showed up for us at a time when my spirits were low. From the food hamper that we received to the furniture last weekend. We are beyond grateful. My boys and I slept so well on our new beds and being able to sit together on our new dining table to eat our meals together is a blessing that puts a smile on my face as I type. I just want to say thank you so much and God bless you all. To each and every volunteer who took the time to add some goodness and kindness into our lives. I will never forget this and it is my desire to pay it forward to others in need the same way I have recieved and been given. Blessings upon blessings to you all.
